Forum, in the heart of Jyväskylä, was totally redeveloped in a yearlong project that was completed in 2010. The interior premises and the commercial concept of shopping centre was modernized. The projected started in January and the fully modernized centre was re-opened in early December.
Accessibility was enhanced by modernised lifts, which now operate between all four floors of the shopping centre and the renewed parking hall. Also the interiors and the overall look of the centre was modernised.
Forum´s commercial concept was refreshed to better meet with the consumer needs in the city center of Jyväskylä. Especially Forum´s fashion and restaurant supply was diversified. The renovation covered the entire centre but was focused on a 12 000 square metre section. Citycon invested approximately EUR 16 million in the project. |
