Share subscription period by exercising A options under Citycon's
stock option plan 2004 will expire on 31 March 2009. Trading on the
NASDAQ OMX Helsinki exchange will end tomorrow, on 24 March 2009.
Those 2004 A options that have not been exercised for share
subscription before the end of March will be deleted worthless from
the book-entry accounts of their holders and from the book-entry
securities system. The maximum number of shares that can be further
subscribed for exercising A options under the 2004 stock option plan
amounts to 842,736 new shares.

The share subscription prices of 2004 A/B/C-options decrease today,
on the record date for dividend payment and equity return, by half of
the per-share dividend and equity return decided by the AGM on 18
March 2009, i.e. by EUR 0.07. The new share subscription price of
2004 A options is EUR 2.2032.

Citycon's Board of Directors will approve share subscriptions made by
the end of March in its meeting of 22 April 2009 at the latest.
Shareholder entitlements related to subscribed shares become
effective once such shares have been entered in the Trade Register,
approximately on 27 April 2009, and the trading on the following day,
approximately on 28 April 2009.
