Sustainability, attractive living environment, increasing communality and proximity to services and public transport are the building blocks of the future living. These blocks come true in the residential development projects we develop in connection with our mixed-use centres. Everything needed for a good life is accessible directly from the front door:  comprehensive range of services, restaurants, entertainment, shops, jobs and excellent public transportation connections. We develop apartments both for sale and rent. In our development pipeline, we have around 320,000 square meters of potential residential development. This can either be developed as apartments or offices depending on demand and the market situation. We are planning housing development projects in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Estonia. We bring all our passion and dedication to our housing development projects to create a better life and living for people – creating long-term value to all parties.

FINLAND

Lippulaiva

ONGOING RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT, Helsinki Area, Finland

Eight new residential buildings housing 550 apartments will be built in the immediate vicinity of the brand new Lippulaiva shopping centre, opening in spring 2022. These high-quality apartments offer sustainable living within a comprehensive range of services and superb transportation connections.

Four of the buildings are Citycon's rental properties. The construction of the first residential building has begun in spring 2021, and the lease will begin in 2022.

Living sustainably at a traffic hub

Just like the Lippulaiva shopping centre under construction, Lippulaiva’s apartments will also be state-of-the-art and energy efficient. These nearly zero-energy buildings will warm up with geothermal heating, and rooftop solar panels will partially cover the buildings’ electricity need. Here residents can easily live without a car as the apartments will be built straight above the new western metro station and bus terminal – the great transportation connections can be reached at a press of an elevator button. It takes only 26 minutes by metro to Helsinki city centre.

High-quality living without compromises

The sizes of the apartments vary from studios to larger family homes. These high-quality apartments provide homes that are efficient and comfortable. The big windows in the living rooms guarantee natural light, and the glazed balconies of each apartment provide additional space and living comfort. Underfloor heating ensures that the feet stay warm even in winter, and the missing radiators bring extra space to the interior.

Neighbouring the best range of services

As a neighbour of Lippulaiva, an incredible range of services are at hand. The new Lippulaiva lives to meet the daily needs and desires of the local residents: with the mouth-watering food & beverage offering, great grocery selection and locally tailored service setting Lippulaiva forms a heart that tends to lift the visitors’ mood and bring joy to their everyday!
