A new name and logo have set the seal on the refurbishment of Kämp Galleria in the heart of Helsinki. Although part of Helsinki's history, like the surrounding city Galleria Esplanad is a continuously changing, thriving location, rich in experiences.

In Finland, Galleria Esplanad represents a unique collection of internationally top trademarks and brands. This role has been strengthened during the refurbishment carried out over the last couple of years.

The following have opened at the shopping centre this year: Finland's first COS store, Furla, Efva Attling, Tommy Hilfiger and, in the autumn, Collage the Shop, which offers exclusive fashion and accessories. At the end of the year, Gant will expand its surface area and range of goods, to include Gant Home products, for example.

–The effects of the refurbishment can be seen in the form of strongly growing sales and visitors, says Shopping Centre Manager Katja Hatakka, of Citycon, the company managing the shopping centre.

Reflecting the quality and style represented by Galleria Esplanad, the new logo and name also refer to the location, in Helsinki centre's most bustling shopping district.

Galleria Esplanad is a shopping centre the size of an entire quarter; while its shopping centre identity is strengthened by a clear central concourse, a range of fascinating shops surrounds the quarter. Together, these form a strong and attractive commercial entity. The quarter concept is also underlined by a new graphic quarter element, to feature from now on in Galleria Esplanad's marketing.

Advertising agency Orange Ad designed the new logo and image for Galleria Esplanad.
