When Sameer joined Citycon Sweden in 2021 to take on new challenges for his career, the real estate industry captured his interest from day one. Today, he works as Finance Director for his business area, ensuring that the information needed to support decision-making is accurate, up to date, and easily accessible.
Sameer’s career at Citycon has been on an upward trajectory. After transitioning from consulting to a Business Controller role, he advanced to Senior Business Controller in just a few years. In spring 2026, another opportunity opened within Citycon when he was offered the chance to lead the finance operations of his business area. Accepting the new role was an easy decision. "Moving into the new role felt like a natural next step in my career. It was also rewarding to see that my work and the results I had achieved were recognized and trusted," Sameer says with a smile.

"My work is a bit like solving mathematical problems. We analyze situations, look for solutions to challenges, and continuously improve operations one step at a time," Sameer explains.
